With 25 years of experience in the hair business, I have a passion for making people look and feel their best.

After High School, my two passions were Theater and my interest in Medicine.  My journey in life began as an RN in the Emergency Room, and then George Washington University continuing my medical studies in the Physician Assistant program. During this time, I realized that HAIR was my calling.  I stepped away from medicine to get the proverbial "hair bug" out of me...I never turned back.

I trained as a Cosmetologist and after graduating from The Potomac Academy of Hair Design, I participated in a hair competition and was immediately approached by the late Robin Weir of Washington, DC.  Through him, I was recruited by Glemby International and started my career in the hair industry while training with Glemby in New York City.   I have extensively trained with Wella International and with L'Oreal Paris.  I became a hair stylist and colorist at

Bloomingdale's White Flint, in North Bethesda, Maryland.  After 4 years, I joined the team at

Rainbow Hair Designers under the supervision of Jean-Robert Gamblin.

I have extensive training in hair coloring techniques both in the United States and abroad.

I have trained with Tigi in Dallas, Texas, L'Oreal in Paris, as well as the John Sahag method of dry cutting.

My coloring techniques vary from soft and natural to bold and eye-catching.  My goal is to make my clients look and feel their best.  I take into account every aspect of each individual -

from personality to face shape and structure.

I take pride in my ability to listen to my clients and create a bridge between my mind and theirs.

Making people feel and look their best brings me so much pleasure and satisfaction.

After 25 years at White Flint Mall, the mall's closing opened an opportunity to join Timothy Tran at his new hair studio: Timothy's Salon & Day Spa.  As of Decemeber 31, 2016, Timothy's Salon & Spa will no longer have a Hair salon.  I am excited to join the team at Salon Luna starting January, 2017.

I have always believed in team-work and I love the interaction with my coworkers that keep my ideas flowing as we constantly are learning.  I truly love what I do.
